Marissa, you have quite a talent for telling your story. You took me on your emotional journey with your words - made me laugh, cry, and admire all in the span of a few paragraphs. You so aptly talk about living now. It really is all any of us can (and should) do, but so often we forget the importance of those wise words. I can hear your strong spirit in your words, so go get 'em girl and do your thing your way! Your generous desire of helping others is not just a connection to humanity, it's a true gift to the world. My late husband, Kevin, was good friends with your dad, so I know you have a ton of support and love as you go forward. Sending some extra hugs, strength, and love to you all.
Hi Marissa, I worked with your dad in 2011 ish, he always spoke about you and how proud he was of what your were accomplishing at that time. Crazy times, I am in school and this week I have been assigned to write about ALS. So here I am and grateful to read your processing of this new way of life, I will be adding you to my prayer list, for real.. again thank you for sharing your story and I will be following your updates. Jesus give you peace in the many quiet moments and thoughts that cross your mind.
I very much enjoyed reading this. Maybe one day through your struggles, you will help others. I see your story being published. You write very well.
I LOVE your strength, Marissa.
Damn, I’ve been missing your sense of humor. You’ve always been one of the funniest people I know 😂
It’s amazing how you are able to capture in words what you are going through. Thank you for sharing. Love you so much.
